Toastmaster of the day

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the meeting host and ensures a smooth flow.
  • Introduces speakers and meeting segments.
  • Engages the audience and maintains high energy.


General Evaluator

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates the entire meeting.
  • Provides feedback on the flow, roles, and overall experience.
  • Observes strengths and areas for improvement to enhance future meetings.

Table Topics Master

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts the impromptu speaking session.
  • Prepares engaging and diverse topics to encourage participation.
  • Ensures a mix of challenging and fun questions suitable for all members.



Timer

Responsibilities:

  • Tracks speech timing using the green, yellow, and red cards.
  • Reports the time taken for each speech.


Ah-Counter

Responsibilities:

  • Tracks and reports filler words (um, ah, so, like).
  • Helps members develop clearer speech habits.


Grammarian

Responsibilities:

  • Introduces the Word of the Day and encourages its usage.
  • Observes and reports on grammar usage and language quality.



Speech Evaluator

Responsibilities:

  • Provides constructive feedback to a prepared speaker.
  • Highlights strengths and areas for improvement.


Table Topics Evaluator

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates all Table Topics speakers.
  • Highlights strengths and provides specific areas for improvement.
  • Ensures feedback is concise, encouraging, and time-effective.



Speaker 

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers a prepared speech based on their Pathways project.
  • Adheres to the speech objectives and timing guidelines.



Active Listener

Responsibilities:

  • Observes and quizzes members on details from the meeting.
  • Encourages active listening and engagement.


Sergeant At Arms

Responsibilities:

  • Opens the meeting and sets the tone.
  • Welcomes guests and explains meeting protocols.
  • Ensures meeting materials and logistics are in place.
  • Introduces the club mission and leads the audience in reciting it.



Speaker (Ice Breaker Speech)

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers the first prepared speech in the Toastmasters journey.
  • Shares personal experiences, background, and interests to introduce themselves to the club.
  • Focuses on building confidence and comfort on stage.
  • Adheres to speech timing guidelines (4-6 minutes).



Speech Contestant Profile

Guidelines:

  • Complete and submit this form before the contest deadline.
  • Ensure all details are accurate and up to date.
  • Submit the form to the Contest Chair to confirm your participation.

Speech Contestant Eligibility Form

Guidelines:

  • This form must be completed and submitted before participating in the contest.
  • Contestants must provide this form to the Chief Judge at each level of competition.
  • Ensure all details, including eligibility and originality certification, are correctly filled out.
